1995 Sunfire Turn Signal Not Working

Replaced flasher on 95 sunfire-Still no signals. Any ideas what is wrong?
Fuse is good-bulbs are good. Turn signal switch lever returns after turn-but no blinking signals.
Signals started working erratically-sometimes worked-sometimes did not. Now, they do not work at all. Need Help. Thanks.

1. when you turn on the signal does the light on the dash for that signal come on?
2. If you leave it on and get out of the car are both the front and back bulb illuminated?
3. do the above for both directions.
4. Check the ground connections front and back and in the front there is a known problem with the wiring harness having a problem. You can do a search on this site and find more detail.
5. Lastly if the no ground problems and no harness problem, the switch itself could be the problem

Thanks melsg5. No there are not any signal indicators on the dash lighting up like before, nor do the exterior signal lights light up when checking R and L signals. The signal bulbs do light up when the lights are switched on.
I will check ground connections--is this at the socket for each turn signal light-both front and back?
After that I will check the forums for wiring harness postings.

Any news on the turn signal trouble. I have the same thing and jumped the wires at the signal switch to get the blinkers to work. So I changed the switch out but had the same problem. So I borrowed a known working switch but no go there either. The emergency flashers work great and I swapped the flasher unit out as well. No go.

Did you try the hazard switch ?

Yes, the hazard (emergency) lights flash just fine even with the original switch in place.
Another question. Are there more than one flasher units in the car? It is a 95 Sunfire.
