1996 Grandham 6 Cylinder... Jolting problem

The problem with my car is when I step on the Gas, the car will will "jolt" almost like if its shutting down or stalling, then it will take off again.
Took it to quite a few mechanics, they cannot find the problem.
It would keep doing this quite often.

did any of them suggest the throttle posision sensor? id replace that first given your symtom, and not having access to diagnostic equipment. its just the most likly cause. and they arnt too expensive.

Thank you so much for your response, one Mechanic did finally find the problem
He replaced the "Crank Shaft Sensor", car is back to running smoothly now.
