Just wanted to update anyone on here that needs this procedure done since I just replaced mine earlier today. When doing it, do not jack up your car. The jack puts to much pressure on the engine and will make the bolt holes not line up properly. After finding that out, I put my car on car ramps but that made the bolt holes not line up also, but made the gap even greater. So I put my car back on the ground, level ground. And was able to get under the car enough to replace it. After putting the car on the ground, there was no gap in the bolt holes and they lined up perfectly.

The result of having a bad lower passenger side engine mount isolator, also known as a torque strut mount or a dog bone mount is, the car shaking violently when you accelerate but goes back to normal when you get up to speed. So if that is happening to you then you might wanna check out that mount. I found some cheap ones online but the cheapest I found was at Autozone, it was only 25.99.

It's only held on by TWO 15MM bolts. Might want to spray the bolts with some penetrating spray. You need to take off the pin holding the passenger side wheel well in with either needle nose pliers or a flat head screwdriver, so you can push the wheel well away and get to the bolts. Then take your 15MM socket and wrench and undo the bolts. Then put the new one back in.

Here's a link to a video showing you how to do this.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sUB5BIblb1k

did you find the video before or after you did the job?

Before. I was going to have my gf's mom's bf install it, but after watching the video I saw how easy it looked and decided to do it myself.

One more thing, it's located right next to the exhaust system so if your doing it after you drive it, be careful cause the pipe will be hot. Or let it sit for a while to cool down first.
