1996 Pontiac Sunfire...need a copy of the keys! Can I get it at Home Depot

or somewhere cheap? I only have one set of car keys and would like to make a copy. I have been reading online that if your keys have a "chip" in them you have to go to the dealer to get a copy. I want to know if my model has the chip or if I can get a copy at home depot or someplace like that. I drive a 1996 Pontiac Sunfire...that is pretty beat up so I don't want to spend much $ to get keys copied.

Call the dealer and ask for a price but it probably has a chip.
