1997 2.2 cam sensor location

I just acquired a 1997 2.2 with the cam sensor code. I found the pigtail for the sensor but no sensor in the location that everywhere I have looked states. Am I missing something. Ideas, pictures....... Thanks. I've seen something's about behind he power steering pump. Did an extensive search of the forum.

Thanks for the reply however those are the same diagrams that I have been researching. For hours on end it's just not there every location possible that has been shown is dead end. Maybe someone can shed light on this for me there is a lot of conflicting info about this motor. Thanks.

go to www.gmpartdirect.com and look for the cam sensor with diagram, I believe it is the same place as the other diagram
