1997 License Plate lamp

Is there any way to replace the lic plate lamps with out removing the whole back fascia?
 
After looking on the internet, I found a picture of the lamp socket on Rock Auto. I've been able to turn the socket 90 degrees (took a pair of channel locks to do so) but it will still not come out. Any ideas?

The one you linked to says it is for a sedan. I have a 2 dr. One of the 2 bulbs is burnt out so you can literally see on a portion of the plate. They also light up the word "Pontiac" on the back of the trunk lid. There are no screws around it. I'm at a stand still.
