Hello everyone! I would appreciate if any of you can point me in the right direction. I purchased a 97 sunfire GTX 2.2L, the ignition key cylinder does not work. I was advised by the seller of the problem and not to turn the key off completely but by habit I did and the cylinder does not turn anymore.
The car was starting without the key in the cylinder before.
At the moment I am trying to take out the old cylinder to replace it with a new one. Since I can't turn the key cylinder to run position in order to press the pin and slide the cylinder out, what other option do I have?
Did any one had this problem?
