We have a 97 TransAm, not in running condition, we'd like to sell. Likely needs a new engine. Any suggestions on where to start with pricing to sell? It's been sitting for a few years. 93,853 miles.

Its a tough call with a non running car, prices are all over the place.

Personally I tend to low ball non runners as you can not tell what other issues they may have, Suspension, transmission, A/C ect.... Not trying to insult you but just explaining why it may only be worth around $1000. In my area there is a running 97 Convertible with 150,000 they are asking $5000 for, and a 97 T-Top car with a "new" engine for $3000. Also a running Manual Trans WS6 car with 138,000 miles for $5000.

Check your Local C/L as location also is a big variable, the Midwest seems to like 4th Gen F-bodies more than California.
