days ago, what's going on? About 3 days ago I noticed steam coming up from the hood and saw that the engine was already overheated. I pulled over and let it cool down. I had neglected changing the oil for months so I changed it immediatly the next day. Coolant is full, fan turns on, but it struggles at times and the car turns off, it's really odd, that's when the car is in idle, it surges to stay alive it the engine quits and shuts off. I can turn it back on though but I think that if i drive it too much it will overheat again. i was reading around here that it could be the thermostat, would this be the case with my car?
