can anyone help me figure out if or how to fix the lighting display on the stereo?

Probably an LED gone bad. I would go to a junkyard and get another one, otherwise pull the radio apart and solder a new led in. Radio shack is where I got some new LEDs for my 2000 Bonneville's radio
