I have a 1999 Grand Am GT with the 3.4. I shut off the car, went into a store, then i came out and the car wont start. I pulled the cap off for the fuel pressure port and there is fuel coming out. I put a spark plug tester on it and it seems like it isnt getting spark all the time. Is there a wire in the steering column on these cars that go bad because when i try to turn the steering wheel it tries to start but doesnt. The security light will come on if the car doesnt start and you have to wait until it goes off to start it. It will turn over.
