I am looking to buy a 1999 used Pontiac Sunfire. I have not checked out the vehicle yet but there is no damage on the exterior. Assuming the mileage is reasonable, would this car be a good first car?
Take it to a RELIABLE Mechanic and have him/her FULLY CHECK IT from Toe to Tail and as well run the V.I.N. for ANY possible problems not admitted by the Seller.

Just because it looks good doesn't mean it is good.
There are some good looking cars in junk/wrecker yards.
If it checks out good then it's your decision.
