I'm trying to get information on a car that I'm thinking about purchasing for investment. I came across a 1999 Pontiac Trans Am WS6 30th Anniversary T-top car. appears to be in relatively good condition has 90,000 miles on the clock. The only thing with the car that I'm having an issue with is it had been totaled and has salvage title. The car has since been repaired but I'm curious what kind of value the car would have with a salvage title and what kind of value it might bring in the future? Is this something worth buying to save for a rainy day and if so what kind of money should I spend on this car? Any information would be great

in general buying cars for investment is not a profitable way of growing your money. This is not a 100 out of thousands type of car like a Corvette L-88, or a Hemi Cuda, etc. The car's value is further reduced by the fact that it was in a accident of sufficient force to total the car.
