2.2L ecotec motor vs non ecotec

Hey guys just looking for a little help. I have a 2002 sunfire with the 2.2l ecotec motor which has some major problems and figured it might be easier to just get a new motor. I found a new motor which the place that is selling it claims will fit onto a 2002 sunfire. However, it does not say it is an ecotec motor. Would this motor still work on this car? Would i need a new ECU and Harness?

you might be better off fixing your current engine and not have to worry about compatibility issues

Well this new engine costs under $400, and the old engine the ignition coils aren't sparking, and after checking the compression it looks like cylinder one has 0psi, 2 and 3 have about 30 psi, and cylinder 4 has about 50 psi. Im just trying to go the most cost effective way and if the valves are damaged which it appears that they are a 400 dollar motor might be easier.
