Grand AM? i have a 99 grand am and am wanting to put 20s on it. On my last car i had 18s and they were just too small. What mods if any will i have to do to fit 20s?

You'd need a new suspension and 20s will look retarded on a Grand Am. I wouldn't even put 20s on a Grand Prix.

you can put 20's on it your only problem may be rubbing and maybe a harsh ride but with wheels that big on a car that had 16's on it you ll want to upgrade the brakes on it because your adding a lot of weight to the car

id put 19's myself you will just have "slight rubbing" at worst

rims are horrible anything above 18 sucks because they ruin the ride and handling of the car unless the car is designed for that size rim.

AS a service tech for over 25 years I can tell you putting that big of a rim on is asking for trouble the car is NOT made for that size rim and the cross section of the tire that will fit the rim is way too small for the Load range of the car..
in laymans terms you will either
1, ruin the suspension
2, bend or break rims
3, and I feel this is the most important make the car handle in a way that will endanger your and other peoples lives ...

Not to mention the car will look STUPID...
Sorry but that is a personal opinnion shared by many people including myself

stick with a +1 or +2 size and live with the looks leave the Gehetto look for the show boats ...
