2000 Firebird Formula (LS1 4spd auto) gear set help.?

stock gears are 2.73's and I was planning on buying 3.73's and was wondering if anybody knows the difference in 1/4 mile times with just that mod. Doesn't matter if its through first or second hand experience any answer is appreciated . 2.73's seem a little weak for dragging

In any car you will notice a significant different going from 2.73 to 3.73. Many years ago I went from 3.08 to 3.55 in a 71 GTO and you are making a bigger change. I cannt give any numerical difference in times,
