I have a very good 2000 Hyundai Elantra. It has just crossed 150,000 miles but is in top condition. There is no problem with the car what so ever. It has been regularly maintained, the engine runs strong, the manual transmission shifts just as it is supposed to and no funky stuff happening at all. I am just bored of it, which is why I thought of getting something different.
I have an offer to exchange it for a 1999 Pontiac Firebird with 120,000 miles. It seems to be in good condition.
Does anyone have any ideas?
I am confused about the Pontiac as it is by GM. Not that Hyundai is a top of the line car maker, but I have taken good care of my car and know that it will easily go well past 200,000 without any issues.
Should I stick to my reliable little Elantra or should I swap it for the Firebird?
