The battery went dead in my 2000 Montana and after replacing now the Key Fob's no longer work.
The Manual says I simply have to hold down the Lock & unlock for 7 secs and they will resync.
tried this and upto 30 secs but nothing worked.
I tried going into BCM programming Mode using a process I found in the Chevy fourm and that also didn't work.
My Montana also has a GM Model VSC 3100 security System dealer installed. The manual for that says to sync that just press Lock several times.
Anyone have any Idea how to get the keyless Fobs working again?
I'm really worried the security system will kick in and I will not beable to disarm it. It has a valet switch to disarm without the fobs but you need to know how many times to push the button. The person I purchased from had no idea and never used it.
