above is a link for an 2003 montana owners manual I hope it is the same for your 2000 if you look at page 5-98 it says under hood in the fuse box there is a circuit breaker . That looks like a good place to start good luck and keep us posted

I ended up taking our van to a local mechanic shop and they found a rotten wire located under the floor carpet about two feet going back towards the rear of the van from the fuse panel. This is just the begining of many other problems with this van which has over 190000 miles.

Sorry to hear that well at least you have that problem fixed.Why would GM run the wires there they probably get wore from peoples feet above the carpet and I wonder why it got wet ,is there rust holes?I guess there's other wires together wonder if any other wires are shredded or bare ?

Okay, a week later or so the windows quit working again, so finally I last sunday I decided to find the wire that was fixed and see if something was loose or what. when I uncovered the wiring under the floor carpet right by the passenger front door I found a lot of wires some bigger than others and found the one that controled the two front windows, after moving wires around the windows started working again and connection that was fixed seemed to be ok, also found the broken wire that controled the two back panel windows. Also I discovered many other smaller wires that had either become rotten apart or diconnected, not sure what went where my son and I fixed the window wires and put electrical tape on all the other wires that were not hooked up until I find a simple way to figure out what go's where! So by big question to everyone is where can I find a wiring diagram for this pontiac montana that would be simple to understand and hopefully by color?
