Okay I am having an issue with my car and we can't seem to figure out the problem. For some reason it doesn't want to stay started...it will START and just as soon as it ENGAGES to start all the way it sputters out and dies. Now...I have had a new fuel filter put on it...had my throttle control sensors checked and replaced because my throttle kept getting stuck before all this happened so I figured we should just go ahead and replace it...I have put a new starter on it because the cylonoid (Spelling???) on my other starter was going out so that needed to be replaced anyway but we thought maybe it would help. All my fuses have been checked...it runs FINE once I get it started..it doesn't have a problem in the world...but the issue is getting it started. I have to pump my gas a little bit to get it to stay started up...and since I have automatic fuel injectors I shouldn't have to do that. What could be wrong here...oh yeah I also filled up the gas tank and put fuel injector cleaner in it thinking maybe it was bad gas. It just seems like a fuel problem but once we hook it up to the computer my car isn't throwing any codes...so we are at a COMPLETE loss....anybody have any idea???

is it cold and need a little choke? which would indicate your fuel injectors are not tuned. sounds like fuel issues.

Just to start it's Solenoid.

Start by making sure you have enough oil in the engine, it will shut down if no or not enough oil pressure is present.

Next I would start by checking vacuum lines, and for vacuum leaks. Particularly around the throttle body and intake. Don't forget to make sure the EGR valve is functioning correctly. You also have an Idle Air Control sensor (however it should show a code if it were not functioning correctly)

That is just were I would start. You might find this youtube channel helpful also, it has guided me through some trouble shooting in the past. www.youtube.com/user/AutoRepairHelp101
It shows how to test almost every sensor, and system on a car.
