For the past few months when I drive in a rain shower the car will start running rough and sometimes throw p0300 misfire codes. Common thing is it only seems to happen when it rains? If I let it sit until the weather clears it returns so to running ok. Sounds like an electrical connection getting wet maybe? Anyone dealt with this before and have some suggestions?

Thanks

It is rare, but I have heard of plug wires shorting out during wet weather.

in the dark, spray the ignition coil pack with slightly soapy water and watch for the blue arcs. same same around the plug wires a the head. if these are the original plug wires I wouldn't be shocked at all if they were just shot. replace the cheaper plug wires first, and if the problem continues then the coil, but almost always plug wires issue.
