When it gets cold, (below about 40'f), the trunk struts won't hold the trunk lid open. I've replaced the struts, but it didn't help. Anyone have a solution to this problem?

No, I used after market. The only way I could find GM parts was a complete hinge assembly @ $350+ per side!! The struts I got looked exactly like the ones I took out......I doubt GM makes them, so maybe these were from the same source??
