Im horrible at this stuff but im faced with having to fix this on my own. The other day the car simply lost all power when I went to start the vehicle. Connections are tight. Once in the on position and it looses power it wont turn to all the way back in the off position. If I move the cables power comes back but can easily lose it again not touching it. If I get power back and try to start it looses power.

The cable I have to move to get power back is the positive one. Any suggestions on what to do?

Did you try tightening the batery connections with the correct tools? You should not be able to move it by hand. Have you had the battery and alternator tested?

The connection is solid. Its where the positive line runs out from battery and loops up. I move that around I get power back but I turn it back over and lose power again. At times just a slight bump in the line trips it off or on.

Something isnt tight, trace where the wire goes.
