2001 Montana died on the express way!!!

I filled up this morning full tank. drove from milwaukee to chicago just to mess around down there. car ran great. on the way back (half a tank of gas left) the car dies as i was driving..So i pulled it over (very hard to steer) and sat here for a min. or two and it started up and i went on my way. not 5 min. later same thing. pulled over waited a couple min. started right up and drove away. this happened 4 or 5 times. the last time i restarted it it drove all the way home with out a problem. when it died the lights worked as did the air. no check engine light or anything. it has a new fuel pump as a new thermastat and new manifold gasket. any one Know whats going on?...............Thanks.

wow i feel your pain ,I hate these problems ,how do you troubleshoot something that isn't broke ?? well it's either spark or fuel ,I wonder if there is any codes stored in computer,that would help in troubleshooting ,I think the ecm can store codes without triggering the CEL . I know this is probably no help but good luck and keep us posted.

Ill go to the auto zone tomorrow and have them check the codes.
