I have seen references this issue but no resolutions.
Problems.
1) Stalls periodically coming to a stop or when ready to accelerate from a stop. But not actually stepping on the accelerator.

2) Difficult to start (seems when hot) after a stall or just when coming back after it has been off for a short while. Turns over nicely but you have to to turn completely off wait a second then it will start. Almost like there is no fuel.

No engine lights and no code stored. I ask the parts guy at GM and he hasn't ordered the fuel pump for over a year at least so I don't belive it is a pump issue. Perhaps it's the relay?

Has anyone had this issue and resolved it?

Well I soon will find out. Went shopping, came out to leave and it would start. Tried abot 10 times over 15 minutes. No go.
An hour later when the tow truck showed up it started but had it towed to dealer anyways. Find out on Tuesday what the damage is and I will let evryone know.

Thx

Check the fuel pressure regulator for leakage. Pull the vacuum line off and see if raw gas is in it.

Check the camshaft sensor wires. The camshaft sensor is located on the passenger side of the engine and under the power steering pump. The wire insulation seems to breakdown where the wires enter the sensor.

Solution

So the solution is the Crank Sensor which I believe would be the crankshaft postion sensor pn 10456555 and I also had a bad ignition coil. Now nice that they also included the troubleshooting steps on the work order.
The resistance of my crank sensor was 12 kohms. They checked another vehicle and it was reading 800 to 1200 ohms. Now as this is a Hall effect sensor it is basically a coil of wire so the lower resistence makes sense.

Thanks Beermaker for sharing the solution it will help someone in the future.I would assume she's running fine now .
