I agree. It`s a big job and I mean BIG job to replace the studs in the cylinder head. The head has to be removed. On my Montana, both studes were broken on Cylinder 2, All I did instead of taking off the head was removed the manifold (still a big job) and put a new gasket in there with some red RTV/sealant. So far so good....but it`s just temporary I think.
This is fairly common unfortunately as well as cracked manifolds.
