2001 Pontiac Firebird... wont

start.....? My car would not start this morning..... the lights,radio and evrything else works but when I try to turn the key the car will not start. So I am assuming its the starter.... how much will that cost me? I have a 2001 Pontiac Firebird.... I am moving in two weeks and I am limited on cash.... couldnt happen at a worse time. I need help to get the car started just in until I can settle in my new home. Any help?
I tried to jump it... it still wont strt.... forgot to mention that.

try to jump the car with cables. make sure your battery terminals are tight. if your cars starts this could mean you need either a new battery, or altinator. to check altinator when car is running take your poss. battery term. off if the car stalls that means its your altinator. if none of the above works you could poss. need a new starter.

tap on starter while someone else turns key if it starts you kbnow its the starter

make sure the connections to the battery are full and clean and check your fuses before you go buy anything
