time? I found lately that my grand am is not starting on the first turn of the key, and just today it cut out while driving leaving me coasting to a clear spot to start it again. I've owned it since 37,xxx miles, never had a tune up, is this the problem? Recently replaced the battery, no belts are frayed or broke... any clue?
"Auto Zone will run a diagnostic for free"

This only works with a check engine light on (soft or hard) right? I had one diagnosed earlier (year or 2) which came back as an oxygen sensor problem ...

Auto Zone will run a diagnostic for free. And they have inexpensive parts for your much needed tune up.

that happened to me with my 97 G.A. GT. It was the CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR. Cars nowadays are designed to go 150,000 or more miles without needing a tune up
