2001 Pontiac Grand AM (GT) Problems?

I have a 2001 Pontiac Grand AM GT.

Lately every time I turn the car on a different warning light on my dash is on, if I shut the car off and restart it something else will be on. The car is having some problem starting. Any ideas as to what the problem could be?

yes it sounds like the computer n it needs 2 me replaced or if u go an buy a code book from a parts place an when u just turn the key 2 on it will flash a code an u match the code up 2 the code n the book

I answer this question a lot. Probably the BCM (body control module). I had this problem on my wife's 2001 Grand Am. I removed the body control module, let it sit a few minutes and plugged it back in. Amazingly it fixed everything. The BCM was under the passengers side dash, little black plastic box. Basically every electrical system in the car, besides the engine, was failing intermittently. Just unplugging and reconnecting the BCM fixed everything.
