I'm trying to upgrade the stereo in my 2001 Pontiac montana. When I pulled out the original radio there are 2 plugs on the back. There is the harness for the radio then another plug with just 2 wires can anyone tell me what the 2nd plug is for?

check at www.crutchfield.com for the wire harness adapters they have which should indicate the purpose of what you are seeing.
