my car acted up today check gauges came on then auto-theft then service light came on and my gauges dimmed every time i hit the brakes, after a new alternator is works for a while then throws those up again please help

I had the old one tested put it back in because it tested to be functional but it was still having problems

Now your telling us that you put the old alternator back on the car, when did this happen before or after your original post?
What about the codes in your computer? do you have any check MIL ( malfunction indicator lights ) on?
Explain in detail the current condition of your car, include what size engine you have as well.
