Hi everyone,
I have a 2001 sunfire and the a/c doesn't work. The light comes on, and the fan blows, but not cold. When I turn the a/c button on, I don't hear the system in the engine compartment click on(normally when a/c is working, and you turn it on, it clicks and the engine rpm drops 100 rpm or so) its not doing that. I was told by someone that if the refrigerant is empty, the clutch in the a/c won't engage because there is no pressure. Is this true, and if not, what should i try/look at?
Thanks,
Sean
