trying to replace a steering rack on a 2001 sunfire everything was going great till i tried to get the pump lines off the rack there is not enough room for me to get a wrench in there big enough to break them loose.
I have not lowered the cross member ( if thats what you call it ) yet only because it says to take lines off first in the manual I have. when i do lower it will it come down far enough to get a good wrench on them or is there something I am missing like a special wrench or?? I do have a line wrench i have tried with but just can't turn it .
