Okay, we tried new tires, balance, alignment, new right axle assembly complete and still get a strange vibration when accelerating on a right turn/corner. If we coast, no vibration. Is there something in these transmissions that goes bad and causes this?

Thanks for any insight!

Wheel bearing or CV

vibration

Did the CV w/ Axle. Wheel bearing seemed fine, but okay, next on the list!

How can it be a bearing if it ONLY happens when accelerating through a right hand turn? If cv or bearing it would happen all the time would it not?

Thanks

Kelly

what else is there to change ? tie rod? ball joints, wheel bearing, tie rods all can be checked when the van is jacked up or that wheel is off the ground . It would be very odd if the wheel bearing had "no" play but was still bad.well what ever it is let us know, good luck.

Check the motor and transmission mounts.

Okay, now replaced entire right hub assembly. Same vibration.

What could cause this?

Sheesh!!

I had a bad left front hub/bearing a while back and it would really get loud/sort of grinding noise when I made a right turn, the weight of the van shifts to the left side when I turned to the right.

I had this problem till I had a squeaky belt noise. After much investigation,,,,,I found out the Harminic Balancer was wobbling at the bottom of the drive belt. Check yours with a flashlight and see. Since I had it changed my right wheel wobble is gone! It is a heavy round wheel that holds the crankshaft I think.
