2002 Pontiac Firebird Reliability??? Will It Last?

Hey guys im thinking about getting my first car and i've been looking at a few and i've done all my reaserch but now i've come to a brick wall with the 2002 pontiac firebird! what i want to know is: How long do they last? Around what milage do parts on it start to really... "Go", Are they reliable in general because after all Pontiac isnt a very praised brand for reliability...

Im sort of scared to buy a pontiac especially as my first car but so far the reliability ratings on it arent that bad.

but still... please help me out and let me know if you or someone you know owns one (especially a 2002... FIREBIRD of course) and how reliable they are and how many miles they have on it.

If you have your doubts than don't buy it.
As far as being reliable if they have been taken care of than it's got a better chance of being a good car.
