...Question? Hey all, to all owners of the WS-6 model car... I found one on E-bay for about 20 thousand and it has about 26 thousand miles on it... How reliable has your F-body car been to you? I myself own an F-body a 1995 Camaro, but im thinking of moving up in life... LOL... Its a 6 speed V-8, black, and just gorgeous all over, the car fax has been done on it... I guess im asking in the reliability aspect... Does the car have alot of defects? Things of that nature, thanks for all your help...

for 20 grand who cares???? Buy the car and sell it over here for 50 or more. That is friggin cheap... But yeah, they are a great car. I have a few friends with that car and they stand up to canada summers and winters just fine.

That is actually a fair price for a low milage WS6. 01-02 models came with the LS6 intake and EGR was deleted.

You can't beat the LS1/6 speed combo. You'll love it compared to the 95 LT1. The biggest downfall to the 6 speed cars is the rear. They are weak and with alot of abuse or an addition of sticky tires such as drag radials they won't hold up long. The clutch hydralics are a problem area too, especially with the 98-00 models. 98-00 had leaking problems that lead to premature clutch wear and the need to upgrade both the clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder.

Unlike your LT1 powered car, the LS1 ignition system was changed over to DIS so there won't be that common Optispark problem most LT1's have.

I love my 99 WS6 and had no real problems with it that I did not bring on myself. The pic should help explain that. Buy one, you won't be dissappointed.
