I am currently replacing the exhaust system in my 2002 Pontiac Sunfire 2.2L SFI OHV 4cyl from the Exhaust Manifold back. I purchased new all the way to the flange past the catalytic converter. the flange before the resonator all the way back to the muffler is from the junkyard.

Its all in pretty good condition except for the flange itself in front of the resonator. Now I'm not a welder, nor do I have access to one without taking it to the shop. What I found is that its possible to take what is called a split flange, place it behind the old flange and use it instead. However I have found that it nearly impossible to find a 3 bolt style split flange. The 2 bolt style is easy to find, but the sunfire uses a 3 bolt flange.

I was able to find a 3 bolt split flange on eBay that seems to be what I need, but I am unsure if it will fit correctly due to hole placement.

This is what I found:

FX4049SP Split Flange
2 5/16"ID Flat rectangular
Fits GM trucks '94-'95 with 2" pipe

Everything looks like a match, but I dont know if the flanges used in GM Trucks between 94-95 are the same used in a 02 Sunfire. I would hate to buy this only to find out it wont work. Any knowledge on the subject would be helpful.

I know for a fact its a 2" pipe, so I know the Flange would fit, what Im trying to figure out is if the 3 bolt holes will line up correctly. The Gasket you listed is a slightly larger hole and it seems to be on purpose as the one that came with my catalytic converter is the same way.
