2003 grand am se 3.4 No fire

I replaced the whole sending unit. New everything in the tank. new filter. Every since i started the car with starter fluid I can go out and start it and it will fire right up.

You may have just had a lot of air in the lines, and finally bled it all out.

I hope so, seems like after the longer it ran cleared out really good.

The problem came back. I went out this morning and the car did not want to start again. It started all day yesterday after starting it with starter fluid.

Pressing in the schrader valve isnt a reliable way of determining if you have sufficient fuel pressure. You have to attach a pressure gauge and get a reading. When the engine does run, is there a check engine light?

There is a check engine light on when the car is running. I will grab a fuel gauge tonight and check it, check the dtc's to see what is going on
