...think???? I bought my car about 6 months ago, i love it, even tho i already had to replace 1 wheel bearing and now i think i need to replace the other one, other than that i haven't had any problems in the 13,000 miles i've already put on it, ontop on the 25,000 it already had. So anyway, i've been looking online to see what other problems people have been having with them and such, oh and i've got that lovely designed relay switch that clicks, even if you replace it, so i didn't. So I was looking around and i'm not sure if my car is really what they sold it to me as......it's supposedly a GT, it has a power sunroof yet a 4cyl engine(great on gas, thats why i got it), it says GT on the back emblem name, and someone put GT stickers on the doors, which i haven't seen any other cars with. So i'm wondering if anyone else has a car like this or knows anything about it, I just want to know the truth!!!

The Grand Am GT's tended to have the 3.4L V6 or the 3.1L High Output V6 engine. It sounds like you've had fairly good luck with your car, and they are quite a durable little car as well. It sounds to me like someone put the GT stickers on it for the look, and sometimes that is OK, unless they meant to sell it to you as a GT (meaning, I hope you didn't pay the "GT" price for a car that isn't a GT). If you happened to pay a bit much for the car for what it isn't, just call the previous owner, and if they don't cooperate, call a lawyer or public defender. There are rights out there that protect you as a consumer for items like this. Good Luck!

Go to the POntiac garage and have them check the VIN number. That will tell you what the car is.
