2003 Pontiac Grand Am GT?

My car has a monsoon sound system with a supposed 8 channel stock amp. What I want to know is why? And were the heck are 8 speakers if it is. Or if a couple of channels are bridged to certain speakers. Ive looked in the car and only can find 6 speakers.

The Monsoon has dual speaker cores for a couple of speakers (woofers and tweeters if you will) and most have a hidden sub woofer that is sometimes not easy to find ..
