2003 Pontiac trans am- Limited Edition Blackbird

This is my first post and I made this account for my father to get some more information on a few things. He has had a 2003 Firebird limited edition Blackbird currently with 20k miles on it, since 2004 and is looking to get rid of it. It is on eBay and craigslist, but I can't help but feel like only people that know about this car would be interested in purchasing it; considering the fact that only 50 of them were made, or at least that is what I was told. He has the only maroon/ deep burgundy one in existence, I don't know if that makes it more desirable or not. I was wondering is there is a want for this car, meaning is there anyone out there that actually knows enough about this specific car to go out of their way and find it? And what would one be willing to pay for this car, and I'm not talking shady dealer trade in prices or low ball shots. Any information is much appreciated, and I'm sorry if I wasted your time with this enormous mini essay and you end up not even knowing what a blackbird is.

It is extremely difficult to come up with a valid resale price on something that had only 50 copies made. There just arent enough publicly available sales figures to come up with a number. Anybody who is even slightly curious should be able to find on the internet the back story on these cars. Personally something like that I would advertise at www.hemmings.com as an example of where people looking for something rare would go to find it.
