Have a 03 Sunfire and horn does not work.
hot wired the horn- works
relay is good
fuse is good
now... when i pulled the air bag off the steering wheel, there was a RED wire with a white piece of plastic with a small nipple on both ends of the plastic along with a spring on the wire. the yellow wrapped wire goes to the clockspring and airbag.
looks as if the white piece is supposed to be pressed in and twisted to lock the wire in?
again, not 100% on what this RED wire goes too...but i would assume that it is somehow involved with the horn (more specifically closing the circuit when the horn is depressed)
any help if more than appreciated!!
also, where the red wire appears to belong, almost looks cracked/damaged?... is this a part of the clockspring or the turn signal switch or the wiper control switch or something else entirely?
