Back in November, when coming to a stop the car would bog down a bit and once or twice stall. 2 weeks ago, I replaced the fuel filter and all was good until yesterday. What happened was I was approaching an off ramp, had the clutch pushed and I watched the car drop below 1000rpm and just die. Not sputter like before, no nothing. Also, since replacing the fuel filter I've had one or two rough starts which was not present before. Any ideas what is going on? Have I killed the fuel pump? Bad filter? It's rather scary when the car dies as you're rolling as obviously you lose breaks and steering. Once it stalls, if I come to a complete stop, turn the car off, then back on, it's fine again and I have no issues.

have you checked for any engine codes? have you checked fuel pressure? have you tried cleaning the throttle body? how many miles since you changed the air filter? how many miles since you changed the spark plugs?

2) No
3) No
4 & 5) I bought the car at 38k km's. I've put it up to 53k. What was done before the 38k mark, I have no idea. This weekend I'm going to change out the plugs, air filter and do an oil change.
