Hi,
Newby to this forum. Hoping to find help. We just bought a 2004 Pontiac Bonneville SLE for our 17 year old son. It has 225,000 miles on it and needs a few things. One of them is new shocks. The auto-leveler is dysfunctional, and because of the high miles, we do not want to fix it. Can anyone tell me what shocks or struts I should look for to replace then ruined pair. We only need the back ones. Autozone and Autoanything, only have air shocks and couldn't tell me what to look for. I appreciate any help at all. Thanks!

NAPA carries a conversion from air shock to load assist, not cheap, check their site. Rock Auto also has a conversion kit.

I have done them a couple times on Bonnevilles. I get them at Advance Auto # 90007 . They are by Monroe. If you order online to pick up in store or ship, there are discount codes online you can apply to save up to 40%
