2004 pontiac aztek had new brakes installed last year and still squeeling?

it may be
it maybe your hardware it could be that the clip that is at the end of the brake pad has either come loose or one side of the clip broke off , so what maybe making the noise is the clip moving in every time you brake or brake hard causing the clip to hit the disc thus giving of the annoying squeek . if this is so you just have to replace the hardware.(basically just the clip)..
or maybe you just got shitty brakes
