I have a problem with my sun roof. this is what the track looks like:
so, one arm is stuck in the closed position, and if i take the glass off, the other arm that is all the way back, will move back n forth almost half way up and then all the way back when i push the button, so it seems like the motor and all that is still good, jus got off track like something got stuck in the one arm which held it in place, while the other went to the open position.
I seen some diagram from a 95'(?) sunfire, and it said to stick a flathead in this little thing behind one of the arms, but it does not exist on mine.
is there an easy way to manually push the arms back into place like a little knob, or flap to hold down and push them back onto the correct track? cause ive tried to just brute force it, which is probably dumb, but the thing wont budge. anyone have a diagram from a repair manual or something for a sunroof? havent been able to google anything close to a 2004 sunroof.
