Hey, all,
I have replaced the wiper linkage in my 2004 Sunfire. The part works and is installed correctly, but the bushings (I think) from the old unit do not work on the new unit. On the old one, there was a section where the wiper attaches to the car with a mount at the bottom that does not exist on the new unit. I also went to an Advanced Auto Parts to confirm I bought the same replacement that's being sold and it was. The issue is the rubber piece that causes the wipers to move as the motor controls it. 1) Is that a bushing and 2) are replacements in the Pep Boys kit? Thank you.
