Good morning.

I have a 2005 Montana and when i drive it, the transmission begins to slip when it reaches to 20mph.

So in order for me to keep it moving, i have to change to 2nd.

We changed the transmission filter , and also the shift solenoid. And a few other sensors.
And we still have the same results from the transmission.

So i wanted to know if there's anyone in here that can help me out?

It drives fine until it reaches to 20 mph then it just slips, and doesn't move at all until i change to 2nd gear.

I appreciate if anyone can help me out.

you have done everything you can, it is time to remove the transmission and have it rebuilt or get a used one from a salvage yard

Thank you for response.

I am thinking the same thing also.

Should the transmission begin to shift normally after installing the new sensors?
Or does it take some time for the vehicle to recognize the new parts?

I heard that you have to drive a vehicle for a good while for it to recognize the new sensors?

If i can't get this to work , then i will make a trip to the salvage yard :(

And again thank you for your help.

dont know which sensors you changed but doubt they would cause the transmission to slip
