2005 pontiac sunfire wont start

Hello all,

My 05 Sunfire started in the morning when I had to move it to let another car out but then a few hours later it would not start. I can hear the motor cranking but just wont fire up. I thought that it was the battery without enough cranking power. The battery was bad but after I replaced it I had the same problem. Is it the fuel pump?

When you turn the key to the run position, do you hear the fuel pump run for a few seconds? If you dont the pump, or the relay, or a wire, or a fuse is causing the problem. If you do hear the pump you have to check if you have a clogged fuel filter or are not getting any spark.
