2005 Sunfire fuel filter

Not accustomed to GM quick disconnect fitting. So on the fuel filter end with the quick disconnect is a special tool needed? Could someone explain how to properly separate the line fm the filter. Thanks.

When mine was done, we just used a screwdriver on that end, and a wrench on the other.
